Beginners will learn the basics of Pilates including correct breathing, pelvic positioning, spinal and shoulder stabilisation and how to strengthen the abdominals, back and leg muscles.

 

You are taught good movement skills step by step, which will ultimately give you the strength and flexibility to perform the more complex exercises.

 

As Pilates is a continual learning process, more challenging exercises will gradually be introduced as you progress on to the intermediate and advanced level of the classical mat work.

  

Don’t forget 80% of the UK population has, or have had backache at some point in their lives. Pilates success rate in solving these types of problems has brought it to the attention of osteopaths, chiropractors, physiotherapists and doctors.
